Just access the loft with an ingenious retractable ladder. There are two plush couches and a tv (wireless internet and cable) in the family room that is open to the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all you need including a stove, fridge, microwave and keurig. Go to the closet and pull out a variety of games to play that are fun for all ages. Outside you have a grill and eating area with plenty of private land to play cornhole or catch. Relax in your custom white wooden adirondacks and watch the beautiful sunsets. Best of all, you have a private sandy beach for just your group and one side of a private dock for your boat! This cottage is part of an association of 8 cottages that shares a large grassy island where you can set up volleyball or badminton, but you don't have to share anything as your beach and land around your cottage is all yours! You can arrive anytime after 4pm on the Friday that starts your vacation and have until 10am on the Friday that ends your vacation. There is so much to do in the Lakes Region. You can kayak, paddle board, boat, jetski, sail, fish and swim at the lake. You can hike the local mountains or jump 12 feet into the gorge at Sculptured Rocks. Head a little north to explore the Polar Caves or adventure to the waterpark. Pack a picnic lunch and spend part of day on some of the Wellington State Park walking trails. Tired of grilling? Just walk on over to the Big Catch to watch the beautiful sunsets while you feast on fried scallops and clams. It can sleep up to 6 people and have use of a private shared beach with chairs and a raft, just a 100 feet away! We also provide all linens and towels. Newfound Lake is one of the prettiest and cleanest lakes in New Hampshire. Our beach has a raft and is perfect for swimming. (The map makes it look like we are on Mayhew Island we are on the mainland across from it.) Unfortunately, we do not have access to a boat mooring.

Conveniently located less than 2 hours north of Boston in the small town of Bridgewater, in the heart of the Lakes Region. Lake Winnipesaukee, Weirs Beach and the lovely town of Meredith are a scenic 30 minute drive. We have renovated and updated our cottage over the years and have made it very comfortable for your family vacation. We border Whittemore Brook as well as fronting Newfound Lake allowing for a private setting. Sun fills the cottage all day, and the sunsets over the mountains are stunning. We continue to update the interior. For our repeat renters, there’s always something new. This year, 2020, we recovered the couch. Still the great napping couch. We couldn’t replace it’s comfort. We are always changing the linens. All new sheets this year. Last year we changed all of the spreads and comforters as well as a new color in the master bedroom. We also added a ceiling fan in that room for those hot summer days. We have beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a paddle boat for your use. We have added 2 kayaks. There is an outside chat table with chairs and a combination gas and charcoal grill. We supply all the necessary linens, including beach towels and kitchen towels. They are high thread count quality. We have tried to think of everything to make your vacation stress free. You will also find the little things that sometimes are taken for granted at home. Just access the loft with an ingenious retractable ladder. There are two plush couches and a tv (wireless internet and cable) in the family room that is open to the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all you need including a stove, fridge, microwave and keurig. Go to the closet and pull out a variety of games to play that are fun for all ages. Outside you have a grill and eating area with plenty of private land to play cornhole or catch. Relax in your custom white wooden adirondacks and watch the beautiful sunsets. Best of all, you have a private sandy beach for just your group and one side of a private dock for your boat! This cottage is part of an association of 8 cottages that shares a large grassy island where you can set up volleyball or badminton, but you don't have to share anything as your beach and land around your cottage is all yours! Adults can walk out to that raft with their heads above the water so it is a safe swimming area for all ages. You can kayak, paddle board, boat, jetski, sail, fish and swim at the lake. You can hike the local mountains or jump 12 feet into the gorge at Sculptured Rocks. Head a little north to explore the Polar Caves or adventure to the waterpark. Pack a picnic lunch and spend part of day on some of the Wellington State Park walking trails. Tired of grilling? Just walk on over to the Big Catch to watch the beautiful sunsets while you feast on fried scallops and clams. Waterfront 3 level Townhome is newly renovated with brand new kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and new carpets. Enjoy morning coffee on the private deck and a drink at night in the screened sunroom. Throw some burgers on Weber grill on the small patio in front of the lake. Play some tennis, swim on either one of two sandy private beaches. You can also bring your own boat as mooring is available at extra charge. Rates: The Summer rental period is weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is 2:30P.M. and check-out time is 10:00A.M. A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation. Deposit must be received within 7 days of making reservation. Balance required within 4 weeks prior to scheduled arrival. A $200 refundable security deposit is required to help cover damages or the need for excessive cleaning by our cleaning staff. If a cancellation becomes necessary and the cottage is not re-rented, no monies will be returned. If the cottage is re-rented, all monies will be returned less a 10% processing fee. Check out our website. Policies : Guests do need to bring their own towels and sheets. Sorry, no pets are allowed. No fireworks or sparklers permitted. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. Smoking is permitted outside only. All cigarette or cigar butts must be disposed of properly and not left on the ground. Day visitors permitted, with permission. Overnight company permitted by exception and only if arrangements have been made at time of reservation. Please observe the 10:00 PM quiet time rule.

A wonderful vacation home for rent this summer, fall and winter at beautiful, clean Newfound Lake in Bristol, NH, less than 2 hours drive from Boston. Wellington Village is located directly on the Fowler River, which features direct accesses to the lake via our own, private concrete boat launch right in the back yard. Our home includes: - 2 very large bedrooms: Master suite with full bath and queen bed, and 2nd bedroom with 2 twin and one full bed, also with it's own full bath (sleeps total of 6 people). There is also a futon available. - Fully appliances kitchen w/ dishwasher, microwave, etc. - 1/2 bath on main floor. - Cable TV & wireless internet. - Washer & dryer - Finished basement with additional beds The grounds are beautiful and include a tennis court, playground, basketball hoop, canoe racks and plenty of room to play games. There is ample, free parking for your boat and trailer, and the launch is available for your use as well. You can keep your boat in the water for the entire week; just walk a few feet across the yard from the house and jump in! Our home is meticulously maintained and all systems are modern. The home is also located just a 3-4 minute walk from Wellington State Park, which features a beautiful beach along the shore of the lake. You can also pull your boat up on shore at the park. Newfound Lake is one of the most pristine bodies of water in the US. It is 7.5 miles long and up to 2 miles wide. Fishing is spectacular; the state record lake trout was taken from these waters. There are 2 marinas with boat rentals, and water skiing, swimming, sailing and paddleboarding are all popular sports. Jet skis are also allowed on the lake. Winter is also spectacular here; Several major ski areas are minutes away, and there a hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails (accessible right from the house), as well as cross-country skiing, skating and ice fishing. Bristol is close to Laconia/Weirs Beach, Plymouth and the White Mountains. There are loads of hiking and cycling paths and trails just a short walk from your front door. We plan to insulate, add heat and A/C, paint the wood, get all new bedding and remove the carpeting. Newfound Lake in New Hampshire is one of New England's best-kept secrets. This cottage holds a max 6 guest-amenities: gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, TV, fireplace, gas grill, window A/C & screen porch. Two private bedrooms, 1 with a queen and 1 with 2 twin beds. An additional 2 twin beds are in the loft area accessible by a ladder, not intended for young children. Enjoy lakefront sunrise, sunsets, and beach time. 1. Guest will review and sign owner's Rental Agreement and application. 2. Owner will not provide boats, rafts, inflatable floating devices nor life jackets. Guest should bring their own if they would like the use of them. 3. Wildwood Cottage in Bristol, New Hampshire is part of the small 1950s Forest Acres vacation community tucked away on a wooded hillside in Bristol, New Hampshire. It has been our family’s vacation home for more than 20 years. The road is steep, but the rates are quite affordable. The crystal clear water of Newfound Lake is just a short, if steep!) walk to the bottom of the hill, and the wondrously tall conifer trees are all around. Though the outside of the cottage is deceptively small, the inside is quite spacious, with plenty of light, natural pine woodwork, an open cathedral ceiling and loft area, a fireplace, screened sun room, and the obligatory deer head. If you're looking for "lodgey," you've found the right place! The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably. There is private bedroom with a queen bed, a loft bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a double futon on the sun room. You will need to supply your own sheets & towels. Blankets and pillows are provided. The kitchen is equipped with a a small gas stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and the usual cooking utensils. Being small and low tech there is no dishwasher. Speaking of technology, there is a flat screen TV with DVD player and a similar "old fashiony" Game Cube with games, a stereo, ipod/phone charging station. Wifi is available for subscription TV services, YoutubeTV, Netflicks and HBO. Cell phone service seems to be quite good in our location, we can't say so much for in town. Outside there is a front deck with gas grill, outside tables & chairs and umbrellas to keep off the afternoon sun. There is a sand box in the yard if you have little tykes with you. We have a fire ring in the backyard and wood is provided. There is an enclosed outdoor shower for rinsing after the beach if you like the back to nature feeling. The cottage is not on the beach, but it is right between the two Bristol Town beach areas, and about 7 minutes from Wellington State park - we'll provide the beach chairs and floaty noodles! We have found being off the main road and the busy lake front has means more peace and quiet, and a safer place for kids.
